Join St. Michael’s young adult community for our monthly Holy Hour + Social Hour. The theme for this year’s Holy Hour is based on the Hymn “Adore Te Devote”. Each month we will contemplate the mystery of Christ in the Eucharist in a unique way. The Holy Hour also includes live music, a group rosary, and an invitation to respond to Christ’s Eucharistic presence with sincere desire and petition. Invite your friends! Questions? E-mail ark@stmichaelportland.com
Join St. Michael's ARK for their quarterly works of mercy. This month we will be praying for the dead. A group will meet at St. Michael's and leave following the 8:30am mass for Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery to pray for the dead at individual graves. A light breakfast in the parking lot before leaving. We will also pray a walking rosary together at Mt. Calvary at the end of the event. We will debrief at St. Michael's afterward, where hot chocolate will be provided! A plenary indulgence is possible and can be applied to the dead, provided one follows the other requirements of a sincere, contrite heart and the sacraments of communion and confession. Carpools are encouraged!
